Storyline

As the world succumbs to a zombie apocalypse, Cole a hardened mercenary, is chasing the one person who can provide a cure. In his way aren't only the flesh eating super athletic cannibals as humanities greatest danger, are people themselves! 

My Review

Put together 28 Days Later, I Am Legend, free running/parkour and a bit of gritty British cinematography like in Rise Of The Foot Soldier then you got your selves a movie called Devil's Playground. When i first saw this movie i didn't look into it at all and didn't expect it to be a "zombie" film. This doesn't do anything new to the genre except for the one thing and that is they got parkour artist to play some of the zombies which gives the zombies a creepier effect because they are more agile and athletic and jump of everything. I believe this is what I Am Legend should've been like. The acting was semi good, but not horrible at all and Craig Fairbrass, Danny Dyer and Sean Pertwee were all awesome in this film. There is a fair amount of blood and gore in this movie not that much, but it's still good. Nothing new, but if you want to watch another type of zombie movie then this is a good choice.

- If on of those zombies were chasing me i would sh*t my pants

Dance Of The Dead

Storyline

On the night of the big High-School Prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn't get dates to the dance. 

My Review

First thing I have to say is why couldn't this happen when I went to high school. This movie is not to be taken seriously when it comes to zombie movies and it definately isn't in the same calibur of movies such as 28 Day Later or Dawn of The Dead. But forget all of that and remember to just have fun with this movie because that i truly believe is the point of it. The premise of the movie is hilarious it's all about the losers in high school who don't end up going to prom, but instead find themselves in a zombie outbreak. The cast is pretty funny and the fact this wasn't a giant Hollywood hit doesn't even matter because you will be too busy having fun and laughing. Not much else to say about this film, but if you like anything with zombies in it this is deinatley worth checking out.

What To Expect

Nerds, zombies and a lot of funny lines.

- I'd just save the cheerleader because she was HOT!

- I wish this happened in real life

Hatchet 1 & 2

Storyline

 

Hatchet is a 2006 American slasher film from Ariescope Pictures directed, produced, and written by Adam Green. Set in the Louisiana bayou, it is the story of the legend of Victor Crowley. A group of tourists discover that the legend is real and more horrifying than they ever imagined.

Review

When I first saw the trailer for this movie on www.upcominghorrormovies.com I was so stoked and excited for this movie. It was awesome to see a new face added to the horror icon roster and I truly believe Victor Crowley has what it takes to stand toe to toe with the other horror heavy weights such as Jason Vorhees or Leather Face. I read a lot of review about this movie and a lot of people complained that this was nothing new and it was just another slasher film... What are you going to expect? Of course it's a slasher film and for those people who were opposed to this because they thought it was just another Jason movie well ever wonder if this could be the next generation of slasher for today's youth. This movie was awesome in so many ways it was funny and scary and had lots and lots of gore. If you like movies like Friday The 13th or Texas Chainsaw Massacre then you will love this movie so check it out when ever you have the free time.

What To Expect 

Some good old horror with lots and lots of gore and a lot of cool ways to die.

- Victor Crowley defiantly needs to meet Jason Vorhees 

- I can't believe Kane Hodder (Jason Vorhees) plays Victor Crowely... AWESOME!

Storyline

My Review

OMFG when I found out the sequel was finally going to be made I lost it and went insane waiting for this movie. The first thing I heard about this movie was that it was going to be way more brutal then the first so I was expecting a lot of gore and carnage. This movie did not disappoint at all. Victor Crowley is certainly trying to step it up compared to Jason Vorhees and these two I can certainly say plan out on how they will kill their next victim. With that aside the cast is amazing and I think they were better in this movie. Replacing the lead character of Marybeth was was a awesome decision and who other than scream queen Danielle Harris to play that role. Hatchet 2 was 100x better than the first one and I hope there come out with more and make this one into a franchise. If you want to find out the origins of Victor Crowley hopefully this movie delivered enough to answer some questions you had while watching the first film.

What To Expect

A smoking hot lead character and buckets and buckets of blood and gore.

Ghost Adventures Se4 Ep16 Review

Episode 

Zak, Nick and Aaron return to where it all started, the Goldfield Hotel. This is where it started for the Ghost Adventures Crew.

Review

When I heard about this I was ready for probably was going to be one of the craziest episodes to date so far. Sadly I wasn't rewarded with the same impact Goldfield had on me the first time I watched Ghost Adventures. Regardless this was still a good episode considering they had Aaron in it and the Constantino's with them made it a bit more exciting because they covered more ground at the same time. Nothing really crazy happened here just a bunch of sounds and EVPs which in my opinion is what GAC is starting to just be like in every episode, but  don't blame them for that. All and all this was a fun episode, but could have been better seeing as it was Goldfield I thought this was going to be a hectic night for them.

A Serbian Film Review

An aging porn star agrees to participate in an "art film" in order to make a clean break from the business, only to discover that he has been drafted into making and pedophilia and necrophilia themed snuff film.

Review

Oh my GOD what can I say, this movie glorifies snuff at its finest. This movie is not for the feint hearted as you will see right from the get go you will agree this movie is not going to be an easy film to watch. This in my truest opinion is what Hostel would've been if the notch was turned up a bit from a 10 to a 50. As you watch this film you will get the Hostel vibe throughout the whole movie and it feels so familiar yet unnervingly new. I stumbled across this movie while looking up The Human Centipede and honestly THC is a Disney film compared to this movie. You don't get many movies like this in Hollywood and to be honest Hollywood horror has gone down hill for me so i tend to avoid it. A Serbian Film will test you emotionally and mentally and will defiantly leave you thinking about it for days on end. The rawness of the brutality will let your imagination soar into a dark place and with that in mind I am not responsible for any emotional and or mental scarring you might have after viewing this (LOL). If you are a huge dedicated fan to the extreme horror genre then this movie is for you and if not then I strongly recommend you watch something else. This is a sick depraving piece of cinematic horror art and I loved every bit of it.

What To Expect

Brace yourself and brace yourself well this movie has violent porn, decapitation, torture, rape, blood now take these elements and  inject them all with steroids. I don't want to spoil the fun so just watch and be ready to freak out.

- Main guy looks like David Spade so I laughed at some points

- His wife looks like the girl who played Jean Grey in X-men

- I want bull Viagra
